Welcoming Spring and Emerging from Lockdown
Welcoming Spring and emerging from Lockdown. Spring often seems to arrive all-of-a-sudden but this year, as we have been bound to our homes, many of us have impatiently watched every bud emerge and every flower open with excited anticipation. As the prospect of a lifting lockdown coincides with the reawakening of the natural world, it can feel like the lengthening days bring a tentative optimism.
Many of us will be making the most of the Easter weekend to spend more time outside, maybe even catching up with friends and family we have not seen all winter. Some gardens are now welcoming visitors from their local area, we are lucky enough to be close to Beth Chatto‘s Gardens which are best viewed when they come alive in the spring.
To watch out for those signs of spring yourself why not read our post about springtime.
