The Malings housing scheme next to the Ouseburn river in Newcastle-upon-Tyne has been named the Supreme Winner in the 2016 Housing Design Awards.
Wynne-Williams Associates contributed planting and arboricultural design to the scheme. A feature of the planting and gardens around the site is a sustainable drainage scheme using terraced gardens and a feature rain garden next to the river.
Congratulations to Ash Sakula architects who led the overall design of the housing scheme on winning this prestigious award.
See more about our work on the development on The Malings project page.
