SPACES Collaboration Award for University of Cambridge
The Student Services Project at the University of Cambridge has been announced as winner of the SPACES Award in the Collaboration Category. The project included an overhaul of the public realm, refurbishment of existing listed buildings and the construction of a new wing.
Collaboration was key in this project due to the complexity and sensitivity of the site whilst the university remained operational.
This is what the judges had to say about the project:
“The judges were extremely impressed with how the team managed the complexity and challenges that this project posed.
“With numerous stakeholders to manage, both internally and externally, the project team demonstrated how a truly collaborative team can overcome the odds and deliver an outstanding result. An exceptional team that we are proud to recognise.”
This project also received a high commendation at the Civic Trust Awards and you can read more about it here.
