WWA’s Bobby completes the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon
On Sunday 14th May, director Bobby Browne completed the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, running some 26.2 miles on a challenging course with the summer heat coming unfashionably early.
In addition to earning a sunburn, Bobby and his team have so far raised over £6000 running in memory of Bobby’s mother-in-law.
In what was the first year of this marathon, over 12,000 runners of all abilities took part to raise money for the MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association). As you may have seen in the news, former Rugby League player, Rob Burrow completed the marathon, with some help from his teammate Kevin Sinfield.
