New Cambridgeshire County Council primary school opens at Alconbury Weald
The Ermine Street Church Academy opened to pupils for the first time at the start of the new school year. Ermine Street is a new build school in Huntingdon for Cambridgeshire County Council. Wynne-Williams Associates were the landscape architects responsible for the design of the school’s outdoor spaces from car parking to nursery school gardens.
John Latham, Director at Wynne-Williams Associates, who led the project says,
“The demographic bubble in school age children means we are landscaping for a number of new schools and school expansions at present. Although Ermine Street has opened with just 20 children it forms an important part of the Alconbury Weald housing development and numbers will grow as the new community development itself matures.”
You can see information about other schools and colleges we have landscaped in our Education Projects section.
